A Warehouse Arrival Certification Message (WACM) is an electronic arrival certification sent by a licensed sufferance warehouse when unreleased goods physically arrive at the destined warehouse. It references the cargo control number and records that arrival in CBSA's process.
The requirement applies when unreleased goods physically arrive at the CBSA-licensed sufferance warehouse identified as their destination. It is not triggered merely because a movement is described generally as in-bond or in-transit. Confirm the current timing and exception rules with CBSA or an authorized provider.
No. BorderPro's WACM workflow is a roadmap capability and is not implemented for production use. Use an authorized filing channel and confirm timing directly with CBSA or that provider.
A WACM references the related cargo control information. A future BorderPro workflow is intended to reuse prepared ACI data, but that integration is not available in production.
